OUR BACKGROUND

The Swing Junkies was started by a bunch of technical guys in the IBM Canada Lab back in the late 1980’s. We were a rock band in those days and we played company functions just for fun. 

As the years went by a few members started to shift their interest to jazz. One member wasn’t interested and moved on but we picked up others along the way. 

Over the years we have produced 3 albums that have been greatly appreciated by parents (especially mothers).

Today, we play mostly for fun and the occasional gig.
